You take the ants to your desk and put them under a little magnifying glass, carefully, you attach two little toothpicks to their sides like extra limbs. The ants seem capable of wiggling those mock limbs around by shaking their little abdomens. Success! I mean...it counts right? 

You could have done more, but before you could the ants jump around in glee. Seems they are satisfied.
